‘Zero Dollar’' Artwork

Today marked the release of my first “zero dollar” (plus shipping) artwork in exchange for a promise of a donation to the International Dyslexia Association. The piece went quickly (less than 10 minutes) and the individual who purchased it donated on the honor system to their selected charity.

The first piece offered for this new idea: “Looking for the In Between,” Materials: paper, dye, tape and thread

In the spirit of raising money for causes I care about, I have decided to offer one “zero dollar” piece of art (purchaser will still pay $6 shipping) in exchange for a donation to one of my favorite charities. I won’t be asking for proof of donation. I only ask that the purchaser donate what they can to one of these charities:

Room to Read Charity
International Dyslexia Association
World Central Kitchen

Here is how it will work: I will post a monthly zero dollar piece on a specific day and time. The first person who adds it to their cart and pays $6 shipping will own that monthly piece and I will mail it out that next week. Each month in my newsletter I will share about a new work that will drop and give the exact time and day. Be sure to read the newsletter each month if you would like to participate in this! Sign up for my monthly newsletter today to find out when the next one will be offered (next newsletter goes out next weekend):
